French Crop Haircut for Men – our Gloucester Road men’s salon choice for July
As Franco’s Barbering Lounge prepares to re-open on 04th July, in line with current government and Public Health England guidelines, the French Crop Haircut for Men could well become our Gloucester Road men’s salon choice for July when Bristol barbers are due to be safely able to service clients.
The example above was taken in-salon before the March lockdown began, and highlights a classic French Crop Haircut for Men at its finest.
Essentially, it looks like a short, slightly outgrown Crew Cut. There’s a tight crop with movement on top. The back and sides are clippered down to 3mm, and taken high towards the temple.
On the top, it’s around 1 inch long to give some movement, and blended and tapered from the sides to the top, giving a smooth seamless finished look.
The French Crop Haircut for Men above was given Triumph & Disaster Coltrane Clay (available in-salon for £20) providing a dry finish and awesome texture. The cut took roughly 30 minutes in the chair and costs from £26.
The second in-salon example above is a modified version of the French Crop Haircut, and was also delivered using clippers. It started with an 8 length on top, which was repeated and run through to the sides.
The sides were straightened to a 4 length and straightened to the temples, with the bottom being a 2 length for tightness. This is a superb sharp look.
This variation also took around 30 minutes in the chair, and costs from £26.
We anticipate that the French Crop haircut for Men, and variations of it, will prove to be the most popular hairstyles for guys post-lockdown from 04th July, on the basis that our Gloucester Road barbers will be fully open.
We will, of course, be writing in depth on the Blog before 04th July, to fully update clients old and new of the increased safety measures our team will be taking around Covid-19 when clients are safely allowed back to see us.
If you’re looking for an amazing pair of clippers to do work on your own hair at home during Bristol lockdown, why not check this out too.
