Bristol Barber treats men’s hairdressing clients to a taste of Italy at Manna
Bristol Barber has recently enjoyed another legendary night out – this time by providing some of our men’s hairdressing clients with a taste of Italy from local fine dining venue Manna.
The Italian food night on Thursday 09th July, was arranged by Creative Director Franco Lombardi, catered for 30 clients, and cost £50 per head, including four courses and wines to match each course.
The full menu from Manna was:
Aperitif
Amano Spumante Rosso
Anti Pasti. Fresh Burrata, Roasted Sweet Peppers, Finochiona, Datterini Tomatoes and Pugliese Bread with Le Ferre Oil.
I Muri Bianco 2014
Pasta Course Hand made Orecchiette with Cime di Rapa, River Exe Mussels and Confit Octopus.
Zolla Salice Salentino 2012
New Seasons 8 hr Lamb with Borlotti Beans, Pepperonata and Salsa Verde.
Amano Aleatico 2010
Valrhona Chocolate Nemisis with Amaretti Crumbs and Whipped Cream.
This awesome menu was inspired by Franco’s home region of Puglia in Italy, and will hopefully become a regular feature for Franco’s events with men’s hairdressing clients – with a different Italian region being in the food focus each time.
An amazing night was enjoyed by all, and a big thanks to the team at Manna for making it such a memorable evening. Bon Appetito!
